Engineering Letters is dedicated to maintaining ethical standards in all aspects of publication.
Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to follow responsible research and publication practices to ensure credibility and trust in published work.
Ethical Research and Reporting
- All research must adhere to institutional and national ethical guidelines.
- Authors must present accurate, verifiable, and reproducible results.
- Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
- All funding sources and conflicts of interest must be disclosed.
Integrity and Originality
- Manuscripts must be original and free from plagiarism or data manipulation.
- Proper citations and acknowledgments are mandatory for previously published work.
- Submissions with more than 25–30% similarity (excluding references) are rejected immediately.
Authorship and Acknowledgment
- Authorship should accurately reflect contribution to research and writing.
- All authors must approve the final version before submission.
- Contributors providing minor assistance should be acknowledged separately.
Review and Editorial Responsibilities
- All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process.
- Editors and reviewers must evaluate submissions impartially and maintain confidentiality.
- Reviewers must disclose potential conflicts of interest before accepting assignments.
Data Transparency and Accountability
- Authors should maintain accurate research records and provide data when requested.
- Errors identified post-publication must be reported promptly for correction or retraction.
Research Involving Humans or Animals
- All studies must be approved by relevant ethical committees.
- Human data must not be published without explicit consent.
Conflict of Interest and Funding Disclosure
- All authors must disclose financial or personal relationships that could bias their work.
Publication Misconduct
- Plagiarism, data falsification, and duplicate publication are strictly prohibited.
- Misconduct leads to rejection, retraction, and permanent blacklisting of authors.
